This CD is the first in what is hoped to be a series reflecting the richness and diversity of the world of piping taken from live recordings at concerts and recitals. It is thanks to the Irish Traditional Music Archive and Glenn Comiskey that we have this unique and valuable resource and it is thanks also to the generosity of the pipers over the years who have given us their permission to release these recordings and bring them to a wider audience than could ever attend the actual festival.
The cd can be purchased at Mad For Trad's CD Shop. Sample mp3s of the first three tracks are available for download. Read what the experts say in their reviews. For more information please contact Caoimhín Vallely.
