Weekly classes take place on Monday nights at St.Patrick's Grammar School, Cathedral Road, Armagh (the school is behind St. Patrick’s Cathedral), except for the Adult Fiddle Classes which are on Tuesdays at 12 Victoria Street from 6.30 - 8.30pm.

- 6.00 - 6.30: Beginners Singing
- 6.30 - 7.30: First and second year beginners on all instruments; singing classes
- 7.30 - 8.30: intermediate and advanced classes; singing classes
- 6.30 - 7.30: Adult beginners fiddle class
- 7.30 - 8.30: Adult intermediate and advanced fiddle class
Tuesday classes
APC’s music education programme caters for musicians from a large area comprising most of the northern and border counties. Weekly classes provide tuition for over 160 children and adults in both instrumental music and singing. The classes are taught by experienced teachers, all of whom are excellent musicians. Many of these are professional musicians, while others have university degrees and post-graduate qualifications. Senior students are also given an opportunity to teach small groups.
Once a month, classes are replaced by a Family Session, where all pupils have an opportunity to play together in an informal way. The Trad at the Trian Concert Series, held throughout the winter, provides learners with a chance to hear top musicians and singers perform, and be taught by them in master classes. A wide range of classes and workshops are also available during the annual William Kennedy Piping Festival.
Armagh Pipers Club classes cater for the age groups and instruments listed below:
- Beginners Singing & Traditional Games (4-9 year olds)
- Junior Singing in English, Irish and Scottish Gaelic (for 10 year olds and above)
- Beginners Tin Whistle (for 7 year olds and above)
- Beginners Fiddle, Flute, Harp, Uilleann Pipes, Button Accordion, Concertina and Highland Chanter. These classes are for pupils who have already played traditional music for at least a year.
- Intermediate and advanced level Fiddle, Flute, Harp, Uilleann Pipes, Concertina and Button Accordion.
- Adult beginners & advanced Fiddle, Accordion and Uilleann Pipes
APC teachers have a high level of expertise on their instruments as well as considerable teaching & performing experience. Many are professional musicians, while others have university degrees and post-graduate qualifications in music.
