New Classes

This year, depending on demand, we are offering two new singing classes. One is a regular singing class for adults with a variety of different tutors throughout the year. If you are coming along with your children anyway, why not swap the lunch-hall for a classroom and take part!

The second singing class is one specifically for boys. We have many beautiful female singing voices and want to develop the male singers in the Club, so if you are interested in taking a singing class alongside your other music class please let us know.

A final new class for this year is the Traditional Guitar Class. This class will be specifically for students of Armagh Pipers Club who can already read music and play an instrument up to Grade 4 Level. This class is to provide an additional skill to already competent musicians in order to accompany other musicians and to help with forming groups etc. The guitar class will not cater for beginners - Sorry!

Music Books from Armagh Pipers' Club for sale at Crow Valley Music

Brian and Eithne Valley founded the Armagh Pipers' Club over forty years ago and have been involved in the musical education of thousands of children including many who have gone on to establish themselves among Ireland's foremost traditional musicians. They started producing tutor books in 1972 - the first of their kind. We now have these iconic books for sale online for the first time.

Pipe Making Workshop

The uilleann pipe making workshop under the direction of Éamonn Curran is now in operation and we are taking orders for practise sets, half sets and full sets.

During the year there will be a series of workshops in various aspects of pipe making, instrument maintenance, reed making etc.
